Forming Smallest
Number from The given Digits:
(i) Arrange the
given digits in ascending Order.
(ii) Form the greatest number as per the arrangement.
(iii) If have 0, put 0 after the smaller digit except 0.
Example:
Let us take digits
5, 3 and 9.
Ascending Order: 3,
5, 9.
So, the smallest
number is 359.
Again,
Let us take the
digits 5, 3 and 0.
Ascending Order: 0,
3, 5.
Here, the smallest

Number from The given Digits:
(i) Arrange the
given digits in descending Order.

Example:

Descending order:
9, 6, 5.
So, the greatest
number is 965.
Again,
Let us take the
digits 6, 9 and 0.
Descending order:
9, 6, 0.
So, the greatest
number is 960. [Here have no 0 issues]
Forming the Greatest
3-digit number:
The greatest digit
is 9.
And the greatest
three digits are 9, 9 and 9.
And descending
order: 9, 9, 9
So, the greatest
number is 999.
Forming the smallest
3-digit number:
The smallest digit
is 0.
And the smallest
three digits are 0, 0 and 0.
And ascending
order: 0, 0, 0.
But only 0 cannot
form any number.
So, we shall use 1
at the hundreds place.
So, the smallest
3-digit number is 100.
