Know measuring weight process:

1. Matthev uses clothes-pins to measure the weight of a pair of scissors. Each clothes-pin stands for 1 unit.

Then Matthev got:

The weight of the scissors is 15 units.

2. Then he uses marbels to measure the weight of the same pair of scissors. Each marbel stand for 1 unit.

Then he got:

The weight of scissors is 8 units.

So, Measuring weight depends on a base unit.
